The New Matthew Quinn-Designed Products By MTI Whirlpools Raise The Bar On Bath Design.

(Atlanta, GA - April 20, 2009) MTI Whirlpools expands its Boutique Collection with a new unveiling of solid-surface tubs and sinks designed by Matthew Quinn. Shown is the Intarcia tub with custom antique brass inlays. This new collection is a collaborative effort between two dynamic forces - the imagination of a very talented bath designer and the expertise of an award-winning manufacturer. The final result is a bath collection of tubs and sinks that exude luxury and sophistication and elevate the MTI customization concept.
Matthew Quinn, one of the nation's leading designers in the luxury kitchen and bath design industry and MTI Whirlpools, a high-end kitchen and bath manufacturer famed for its innovation and endless customization options, will unveil this new collection at the 2009 Kitchen/Bath Industry Show in Atlanta. Combining the uncompromising attention to detail of Quinn and the technological innovation and quality of MTI Whirlpools, these new designs are sure to capture the admiration of the luxury design community.
The collection is highlighted by the Intarcia tub shown above, adorned with an antique brass inlay. This customization is a design triumph that will certainly add a sparkle to the bath. Radiating timeless beauty, the solid-surface tub is available in White, Biscuit, Raven and Osprey, and can be specified with or without either of two pedestal bases. What's more, Intarcia can be prepared ready to accept an inlay of choice - metal, glass, wood, stone, or any other material your imagination desires - in the tub, base or both, allowing bathers to personalize their bath environment as never before. Intarcia can also be equipped with an air bath system.
Also unveiled will be the Eryx freestanding tub and sink. The sloping angles of the Eryx's design are asymmetrical and seem to defy gravity, creating a fixture of interest and awe! The pedestal sink has an energy that drives from the floor upward and away from the wall. The result is a geometric urban design that is modern yet elegant. The tub is flanked by a wood accent on either side of beautiful FSC Certified cherry.
